Frey House 2. One of Albert Frey's residences in Palm Springs. He was one of the originators of mid-century "Desert Modern" architectural style here in Palm Springs. (This is Modernism Week in Palm Springs, when great design from the mid-century is celebrated. Even cars. The Avanti was designed in Raymond Loewy's house in PS). Frey has a star on the sidewalk in front of the Architecture & Design museum here:

I'm not a big fan of C3's. But this is one of the nicest examples I've seen in a long, long time. Maybe ever. Great like-new original condition. I'd go as far as saying I wouldn't mind owning this. And that's something for me and C3's. I'm sure paint and trim are new. But still, it's good for the soul to see this on the street. I know it has Colorado tags, but I'll bet it resides in somebody's garage here in the California desert all year long.

(And notice the gem in front of it. Gotta love SoCal).

I didn't like how the movie got super serious at the end. Sucked the fun right out of it. What I'd like to see is a sequel of sorts called, "Small." Susan, Josh's adult girlfriend, finds the Zoltar machine  and wishes to be young. She shows up on Josh's doorstep. A 12 year old with the mind of a 30 year old. Hilarity ensues.
