The first one does the same thing. They are lift locks. Plus the Peterborough Lift Lock predates the other one by 90 or so years.

Theres a Ferrari 612 in my 'hood with a child seat in the passenger side. Replaced an Aston Martin DB9(?) with a child seat in it, too, from what I can tell. Unless there's two of these people cruising around with infants...Pretty cool if you ask me.
