Fun fact...Azusa means "everything from A to Z in the USA".

Damn, so inevitably it appears Right Hand Drive as I assume it's in Japan. But lets start a go fund me for whenever Wally retires, to bring it over and let him drive his usual rout on his last ever day in this!

It actually looks to be center drive in that pic?
In reply to GIRTHQUAKE :
Totoro catbus was my instant response.
Opposite of centered driving position: OSI Silver Fox, 2nd link, 2013 GRM. I can't find details on how exactly the drivetrain worked, presumably they added a sort of V-drive bevel gearbox between the trans and differential? 1000cc Alpine motor, 86HP, 155mph top speed
Tuscon has a lot of old WWII aircraft hanging around, so they made some shade areas in Javelina Picnic Area of B-29 bomb bay doors.
When people mention a hat rack system, and you think maybe it's a typo for cat back system and you wind up being incorrect.
It took 4 hours and 4,000 gallons of water to stop the batteries of a Tesla from reigniting! Eventually they dug a hol, dragged the doomed electric car into the pool.
In reply to jmabarone :
The Caterpillar D3G XL apparently has 6.1 feet total width at the outside of the tracks. So, as a guess, and depending on the width of the tracks themselves, the inside track width might be around 4 feet?
They took the picture at an angle that makes it look much larger.
In reply to 914Driver :
To my understanding, that's a standard practice and a not unheard of amount of water for one. I believe some procedures call for a saltwater bath to allow electrical discharge if things are compromised
As much fun as that is, I have been seeing a remarkable number of non EV fires lately, from "never" to having seen five this year.
I wonder what would happen when a FD tried to dump water on a burning BMW with a magnesium engine block. Magnesium is used in a lot of other places, too, like valve covers, truck transfer cases, rearends, heck I think half the metal parts in the interior of this Mini Cooper were magnesium.

Imagine if it was parked in an underground parking garage!
Regarding magnesium. Famously VW blocks contained magnesium, so fire departments have had some experience with this for a long time. Late model Corvair cooling fans are entirely magnesium but they are not that big so you don't have to watch them burn for too long.

My dad lost a 914 after a minor fuel fire after the magnesium block lit off.
