Why thank you. Great music is great music and if you limit yourself to a particular "genre" you are missing out on quite a bit.

I count 6 Beech Starships in that pic. I thought Beech bought most of them back from their owners-and promptly crushed them.

Big empty airfield in Arizona? That could be exactly what they are waiting for. I was curious about that, too - they're not exactly a common airframe.
BTW I'm insanely envious of that autocross lot.
[EDIT]
From the Wiki:
The aircraft were sent to the Evergreen Air Center located at the Pinal Airpark in Arizona for destruction. Beech worked with owners of privately-owned Starships to replace their airplanes with other Beech aircraft such as the Premier I jet.
Apparently there was nothing much wrong with the aircraft themselves. However, continuing to support the remaining planes would have been cost prohibitive, so Beech destroyed the ones they could reasonably get their hands on and then sold off all the parts inventory to a private Starship owner.

"Does my arse look big in this Mustang?"
BTW Starion in the pic has a 1JZ... Wanna bet which one is faster in the 1/4 mile?
They may be piaggio Avani's. They are a bit more common the the beech starships...

Nope, the planes on the lot above appear to have winglets (not canards, wrong term) and no horizontal stabilizer (tail).
In reply to Salanis:
The piaggio has canards like the star ship but your right the star ship does not have the horizontal stabilizers...
+2 plane nerd points to you!

Yeah, I just now realized my mis-use of airplane terms. I'm looking for the technical term for the wing-tip stabilizers that the Beech uses as vertical stabilizers.

The word you are looking for is winglet
Here is another one of Rutan's planes....
I have a lot of hero worship for Rutan. He got his start designing kit planes then went on to make sub orbital space craft...

One of the officers of our local EAA chapter is building a Vari-Viggen. It is a LOT bigger than I expected from the pictures
