73-87 Chevy pickups. Hated the earlier round headlight style especially hard. They were new trucks when I was a kid, and old trucks were always better than new trucks.
I now hunt CL daily for them.

Ah-ha, and here I thought I was the only person that didn't bow down and worship this fat jellybean-shaped car.

The Mark 3, as heavy as it was, looked way better than the Mark 4.

Maybe, but we raced them in IMSA back in the day and they were seriously fast, extremely tough, and reliable as an anvil. And yeah, it drove like a big Miata with serious hp. We were the only car in the class that had to run restrictors, added weight and smaller wheels. Some of the other cars..cough cough...M3...got to run about a hundred or two hundred pounds light with European cams etc., and I think the RX7s got a few mods as well.
Anyway, I thought the original Z3 was the ugliest thing I had ever seen, but I looked at one recently and thought it looked OK.
Pacers are still ugly, but they are a cool kind of ugly. A Matador on the other hand is just a sign of mental illness.

After reading about the III and IV and V and VI and VII in SCC, Mitsubishi finally throws us a bone and sends us.... this thing, which was like twice as tall as the old models and just plain bigger and fatter everywhere. It was almost an insult: Here, you fat Americans, you wouldn't fit in a Lancer so we are giving you something big enough for the forklift to shove you into.
Now? They're alright. I mainly am interested in how they perform, but they aren't the abomination to me that they once were.
GTRs still make me laugh at their absurd bulk, though. They're like Taurus SHOs without the usefulness.

I just got back from a week long visit to the home office / factories of my employer in Japan. LOTS more oversized folks there these days vs. what I remember from past trips as soon as two years ago. Darn McDonalds, I suppose ....
That said, the Kei class little vans have really grown on me over the years. Sure wish the Ohio BMV would let me operate ine on public roads!

Still terrible.

You sure they wouldn't? I met a man with one of the old Subaru 2-cylinder pickups. It made a golf cart look big (the headlights intruded on foot space!) and it was registered. Said the only thing about driving it was everyone holds their phone out to take a picture as they drive by.
e46. I actually hated them when they came out but they grew on me.
A non-M E46 cabrio is one of the finest looking cars.

IDK, looks decent to me.
Sn95 mustang are starting to grow on me, but more because they're getting cheap enough to chop up. I think they'd make fun carts, I'm not a fan of the body style though.
My car tastes have stayed pretty much the same through the years, even for super cars. Example: I still don't like 911s, and the Diablo was the last attractive Lamborghini.

Big bumper sedan. Think '74-75 era.
I'm not going to image search for that one.
