Not sure what I think.

I think it cleaned it up a bunch. Not quite finished, but it looks good.
EDIT: I was thinking about the sky as the original. Eh.. IDK how it looks.
Hey, I got an idea, let's take a modern cartoonish sports car and remoake it into a caricature of one of the most copied sports cars from the 60's.
To each his own I guess. I don't think it looks bad, not worse than a stock Solstice. I wouldn't pay extra for it.
Anyone ever seen a Solstice/Sky with appropriate sized wheels? Maybe something like 16" instead of 20" or whatever they come with. I smile when I see these cars because they make me think of those hot wheels toonerz or whatever they are called. Just not my cup of tea in the styling department.
Blechk. Don't care for it a bit.
Its a little like taking a pretty girl and dressing her up like a plumber.
I want to hate it, but it actually looks pretty good! Change the color and wheels and it's all good.
Looks a hell of a lot better than the Ford/Shelby Cobra concept car from a few years ago or the Shelby Series 1 from a decade ago.
Needs a big roll bar, staggered wheels of appropriate size, hold the mustard, and add an oil cooler in that big ol grill and Me likey

most appropriate quote evar!!!1!
I dunno, I liked the Series 1 but then I like my Shelby CSX and the GLH-S ;)
4cylinderfury is right, the oil cooler, roll bar, color and wheels would bring it closer to the concept. Right now it looks more like a baby Factory Five racer.
Generally speaking, I find that cars trying to look like other cars are full of fail. At best, they usually just look like a badly drawn copy. Exhibit A:
But, in the case of the Solstice, that nose is an improvement over the stock Bugs Bunny teeth. I kinda like it, it's well integrated.
Interesting...I was looking around Google for other Solstice/Cobra conversions and found this thread. The original CL ad I posted used several of these photos. Strange. So either the CL ad is a scam, or the seller on CL bought this guy's car.
