Do you actually READ a thread before you respond?

because people are posting at the similar times and the "previous" posts may not have actually been there when they started their response?

I read the OP, but if the thread is 20 pages long, I may type a response before I get to the end.   If I keep reading and see someone else has said the same thing, I may go to my post and delete it.   But not always.  People are often looking for justification and have to be told something repeatedly.

Aside from zombies and long untouched build threads, I'm pretty caught up on my reading, so sometimes just to make sure I'm not just blindly repeating almost word for word what others have said before me.
