Since we already have a TRIVIA game I thought I would start one called "Find the Air Conditioner"
Hint: It's located right next to the Bilco door to the cellar.

Today in Ft. Lauderdale- 70 degrees, sunny. Great weather for a football game. This is the time I love Florida. Ask me how I feel in August.
not sure about the AC... I would like to find my BMW... it is somewhere under the 28 inches of snow that drifted around my fence
I just spent an hour reading the Baltimore Sun and the Washington Post. They have some really exquisite photography and videos there. Strikingly beautiful. News report of white people rioting in DuPont Circle- a huge snowball fight. When I lived in Baltimore, they would freak out at the mention of snow. Seems they are dealing with it a lot better now after some practice. Still a lot of people without power. That's bad.
well, we have had two big storms this year in the mid-atlantic.. that is more in one year than the last 5 put together.
So a huge snowball fight is a riot? Sound like fun to me
The video of it looked like a whole bunch of people (hundreds!) having crazy fun. Pretty lame for a riot, but almost made me miss snowstorms. Almost.

Gee I guess that's better than getting sunburnt in weird places!
Looks like the official number for Frederick is 29" of snow which surpasses the storm of 93 and the Blizzard of 96.
Spent 4 hours yesterday getting the driveway and the walk in front of the house cleared. When your snowblower is 24" wide and 18" high and you get 29" of snow it takes a little work.
And now they are talking about more snow on Tuesday
Lot's of people get hurt/ sick shoveling snow- be careful out there. Yeah, I see you have a snowblower, but they can bite too.
Hey guys! I'm off to Indonesia for six weeks tomorrow.
My work is paying me to go here:
Just thought I'd chime in with that. BTW still around 8" of old, stale snow on the ground in these parts.
Feel free to call me names. I'll think of them and try to get insulted while I'm sitting around on a tropical island eating fresh coconuts.
I'd rather have a little snow than the soggy weather we're having here. Yes, it's February and yes it's the UK but when you have to clean, polish & wax a car in "strips" between showers, that just sucks. And takes several weekends instead of an afternoon.
Its a nice and balmy 26, the sun is shining... If I had a convertible here, the top would be down today.
I spent hours clearing my drive.. and the plow came by plowed me back in... I swear those guys are sadistic

It took the wife and I an hour to open up the end of our driveway where they plowed yesterday. I'm sure we will have to do that agin once or twice before it all melts.
BTW: I found the AC and the cellar door
my sister went out of her apartment in DC today for the first time in 30 hours, and the wind knocked a huge blanket of snow off the top of the building - its so high on the tops of the flat buildings that huge drifts fall off in volkswagen sized hunks. Whenthe pile of snow clobered her, she got to play a new game:
Find my keys in all this berkleyin 30+" of snow!
