worst way to get arrested over that horrible... horrible film... And I liked Tom Green at one stage in my life. but that film... ugh.
That's the only movie I've walked out on, I've fell asleep on plenty, but that's the only one I got up and left on. A whole group of us even got our money back from the theater manager. There were maybe 6 or 8 that went to see it, we all left. Manager saw us all exiting, asked why, and gave us all vouchers to come see another. Terrible, terrible, movie.
Wow. And for such an awful movie too!
At least the police officer who pulled him over was understanding. Could you imagine?
this guy was doing the rental store a favor.
I'm curious about how they process a civil suit as a criminal case, unless he was arrested under a contempt of court charge.
Edit to add: “So there’s a civil suit that they processed as a criminal case, and we’re here to take you to jail.

Tom Green is helping..
Maybe they should make Tom Green serve his sentence.
Wow, and I thought it was ridiculous using federal marshals to raid and arrest people late on student loan payments. This is just berkeleying. wow.

Is there no statute of limitations on un-returned VHS tapes? Isn't this exactly the kind of situation that is supposed to cover?
I think it's a complete waste of time and the police should be solving "real" crime.
However, I have to say, I'm surprised to see people who typically (not necessarily this board) fawn over anything the police do going against this. Guy broke the law, had a warrant, and turned himself in.
It speaks to a lot of other things these types typically do, but I won't go into it here.
I certainly like to see consistency in late enforcement but I can see the frustration also. I had realized at one time (because I happened to look at my license) that my DL was expired. I called the DMV and they told me it was suspended for an unpaid ticket. Well, that would have been nice to know! They DO have my address. I think I had been driving for about a year on a suspended license.
Perhaps, he and I missed a letter, but it would be nice to be made aware of such things and not just when you are next pulled over.
So if this goes to trial and no one testifies against him, won't this be dropped?
