This is Annie's pic, taken yesterday afternoon when the sun was hitting the Meyer lemon tree just right. It looks like they're glowing.
It's my tree, and I maintain it. She likes to say I have big lemons. She's right.
This is a selfie from 9 years ago. I was in the middle of carving pumpkins for our granddaughters, and took a break to have a beer with a "friend." The pic is still on my phone and still one of my favorites this time of year.
fairykayls brought the A-game (and a cool skull).
Another from my pre-Halloween shoot with miss.kookie.munster. This is all natural light–no flash, no editing, no Photoshop. Just drag and drop.
Finally developing film at home again. 35mm Fomapan 400 developed in Clayton F76+, pushed a lot. Film has been sitting in the fridge for over a year waiting for me to get my act together.
Larry looking rather regal.
So, the behind the scenes on this one.
We were at a shoot themed “spooky.” Larry was wearing the sheet–picture a Peanuts ghost–with some red-framed, low-buck sunglasses over the sheet. But the sheet didn’t fit well over his dreads, and Larry wears glasses IRL. So it was a bit of “Hey, where are you?”
When he put the sheet over his shoulders, however, suddenly this all came together, transforming things from silly to serious.
