If this is no bueno, feel free to take it down. Figured that I'd pass this along though.
Sign up for Robinhood using my link below. They'll give you a free share of a random stock. Most of the time it is something worth less than $5.00, but across the internet I've seen a few people actually get lucky with a Xerox, and I saw one person actually get a share of Apple.
Whats in it for me? If you use my link, I get a share of something too. I'd assume other folks should be posting their links too if folks actually get started with this.

Robinhood, btw, is a brokerage--it is all on an app, and the trades are free. No clue how they're earning money, especially if they're literally giving stocks away, but I'm happy to take advantage of it.

EDIT: For those curious, my free share was Chesepeake Energy. Worth 3.47.
I tried, but I do not have internet access to my bank account.

Don't need it. Just hit skip--top right IIRC.

They're fairly well known, if new. I assume they're running on vc money for now. We'll see what happens when "monetization" starts.
Ive been on the fence for a while, so I used your link. Mine is

I signed up but apparently my phone or tablet won't take a legible photo of my license, not surprising as they both have terrible cameras. I'll finish it Monday when I can scan it at work.
Yikes! Please do your due diligence, people.

What do you mean? It's regulated by the SEC. They participate in FINRA. Accounts are covered by SIPA.... Its not the best brokerage service, but its security is fine unless you know something that isn't general knowledge...
I just googled "robinhood markets complaint" and "robinhood markets review." I tend to hold the companies that I trust with my money to a fairly high standard. Others may not, and that's cool. I guess.
I was "gifted" a stock of Zynga. Here's hoping they've got a killer Facebook game up their sleeves. Thanks for the link.
Interesting and I truly hope this is not a slick identity theft scam. My application is under review. I did not provide bank info, but everything else...
...and now I own a $5.31 share of Groupon.
I got zynga myself. Meh, maybe something good will happen.
Lots of my colleagues at amazon used robinhood. I never got into it.
