Three orange ZO6's ??? What's up with that. Both my cars are Orange (dibs?), my Z06 is the orange #99.

The FTO is NOT legal in HH. At least it is not on the list. So I guess it's not as much of a tragedy that Apex got booted. Might explain why it was so easy for him to catch up to me... at least that's the story I am going with.

I knew it wasn't on the spreadsheet, but I thought at some point it was granted admittance.

It was granted admittance when we were talking about shapes. The Celica isn't a traditional HH shape, but it's allowed because it's truly a hatchback. Has a 3rd door, not a trunk.

I think it was later decided that as long as it had a hatch and not a trunk, it's fair game. The FTO has a trunk. So does the Fiat Turbo Coupe.

Ehhh... it's fast and stable, but not exactly lightweight. It's a pain in the ass to tune correctly, but when it is, watch out. Apex may have figured it out.

In my defense, that was less passing and more OH GOD MY BRAKES!

I was carrying way too much speed into that corner and hit the brakes way too late, so they locked up and I died.

We went back and forth on this one, so it may have been an oversight. I am trying to find the discussion were the general ruling was made (also it is entirely likely I 'forgot' to update the spreadsheet).

Need a ruling on the FTO (Apex you points will stand, you just may need to change cars)...

I don't really care one way or the other. The only reason Apex caught me the second time was due to tires. I lost nearly 5 seconds a lap at the end of the race. Down the straight and through the corners we were very even. Had I not fat-fingered the down shift going into parabolica and run off into the gravel I think we both would have caught aircooled. Watch the replay before you decide.

I do like the juxtaposition of the RM Z06 then going to FF cars, though. Maybe we can revisit that for maybe the 5th series, and specify NO hatches? FWD Sedans and Couples only?

Thanks Brad! Everyone else seemed underwhelmed with it. I'll slap it together tonite and see what i think.

Did a few HH Tsukuba practice laps with CAM a little bit ago. I like that track, but it not a track made for passing. Unless you can overtake on the back straight with sheer speed, it mostly consists of following someone around and waiting for them to make a mistake. When they do you have to close enough to squeeze by unless they end up in the sand.

Worked on my gear ratios, but haven't touched the suspension. Still haven't broken a minute, but I'm convinced it is possible.

(I made an open lobby room titled "Production FF only" and besides CAM and his Civic the other people who entered were a Camaro drift machine and a guy in a WRX. I guess FF only works about as well as Brad putting Private in the room title for our races. )

Brad, if we are supposed to vote or voice our opinion of the FTO, I'm all for letting Apex run it.

HAHAHA... yea no kidding. Then when I kick people who don't want to play by our rules, they send me nasty messages saying crap like "I wasn't wrecking anyone", which is generally followed by some comment about my character.

Thing is, I'll let people run if they show up and ask rules and play nice. You show up and there are 9 people in Caterham Fireblades, and you want to run a 111R? Kick. Have a nice day.

I will have to watch the replay because I really have no idea how fast he was. The few times I saw him he was "zooming" up in a glitch. From that perspective he was going about 400 mph.

The car seems to be on par with the others, although I never tried to set one up.

If we're going to vote on what Apex. drives I vote a classic Mini Clubman I thought the ruling was that the FTOs and Celicas were legal. I tested the FTO in stock form and decided not to mod. it. From what I've seen if it has an advantage 99.9% of it is Apex.

After getting back online with my Z06 I saw the two orange cars up front and thought WTH, ac and Apex. have decided to run as a team

Celicas are hatches, so that would make sense. I'm not worried about the FTO, but i would have set one up if they were to be allowed. Or the Fiat.

Don't know what they did to it. It was massively fast in GT4... second only to the FTO.

Anyways, i'm running a Clio. I'm just sad that it's a standard car, so i can't get real crazy with color scheme.
