No problem, yours will be the one out front. I painted mine green because I didn't figure anyone else would.
I'm finding the Z06 to be a very nuetral handling car. No problem with power on oversteer. The biggest problem so far is brakes. We'll be coming down from higher speeds and it's very hard to keep from locking them up.
Have you tested in the rain @ Monza yet?
My recent testing I usually do on my course builder track. I've got it setup with lots of different corners, long straights, hills, bumps, flat corners, banks... it's a good all around track. Then by running at the same place all the time, I can get comparable numbers from car to car.
It's the ROC course for Series 3. If you want to give it a try you could be able to go to "Community" find me, then go to my Profile and it should be shared. Named "Moonshiners Run".
Nope, HH still and always was Alfa red with bright blue wheels and the Z06 Blurple with lime freaking green wheels Damn I love my combos haha
Do we get cases of 'shine to race with
Apexcarver, I finally got the Cosmo successfully sent to you around 4:30 this morning. Sorry for the delay, my ignorance got in the way. I'm not much on multitasking anymore. When my uncle's caregiver called to let me know my uncle wanted to see me I couldn't help but think something might be wrong. He's 86 and in very poor health. As it turned out she had to go somewhere and he just wanted some company.
Please return my bright yellow Caterham ASAP. Thanks

My spec Vette is currently passionate pink with some terrible shade of yellow green wheels reminiscent of a certain Marcos.
My other Vette that was too modded for this series is green though.
I'm still leaning towards my beige civic for HH with some funky blue wheels. Anyone know how to figure out what color my wheels are? I really like the shade of blue and would like to see a whole car painted in it, but have no idea which of the 200 blues I applied. I know it was one that I had 2 or 3 of so I still have it, but I have no idea what it is.
I can't get the RM vette to be one solid color. I was going to do chrome gold, but it only did half the car like that, and it's not as funny, now.

Yeah, not sure why it keeps part of it white. The Shelby GT350 and the Samba bus lose their two toneness/stripes when painted, but the RM vette does not.

The Z06 should keep the back sliver... the ZR1 is white.
We are racing the Z06 RM, double check you have the right one. It should look like this:
I let me Bobs run an endurance race in it to help break it in, so my HP may be up a bit from new. I would guess they will top out around 570. No performance adder, weight reducers, etc. About the only enhancement that you can add is the Diff, but I know people have varying opinions on using it. Mine has it, though I'm not sure it helps.
It is quiet a handful in the rain... FYI...
I was pissed when i saw that you couldn't paint it a solid color.

I guess I need to pay attention a little more. I'm pretty sure I bought and RM'ed a C-6 ZR-1. Now I have 2 of them. I'll double check and then buy the correct car tonight. Anyone want a RM'ed ZR-1?

Looks like I'm going to drop my sweet sounding and fun to drive civic and go back to the Volvo for the HH series. There is about a 5 second advantage at Monza in the dry for the Volvo with me driving. Looking at the other tracks in the season there are quite a few where I think the Volvo will have an advantage over the Civic with long straights. The civic is about equal on power, but waaay down on torque and I think that is its downfall. The civic is lighter and more fun to drive for me, but other than Tsukuba and maybe Monaco I don't see where I could be faster in it than in the volvo.
Tom Heath: Can we get this thread stickied and unsticky the old thread about last season? (is it bad form to use the word canoe just to get attention?)
I'm STILL building and testing HHs. Interesting fact, the DC5 Honda Integra Type R is faster than the DC5 Acura Integra Type S.
Welp, i just pulled a 6:54.198 around the Ring in the Vette.
It was online, and i was fighting through traffic as well. I am pleased.

I bought and built a CR-Z today. I spent too much time getting money from the Eifel Supercar race, then using the $ to buy a new supercar then go back to the race to make more to buy another supercar. It was too easy with the RM Z06. Elise 111R harder. Elise 111R RM in between. Then I bought a McClaren F1 - I really like that one even stock it is fun. Made a couple million using it, then bought a Zonda R. Then used that once to buy the half price Zonda LM race car.
I re-painted my Volvo in a better color - it was light matte blue . I didn't really like the color all that much, but since the matte colors are rare I was going to leave it that way. Now it is matte blue instead.

Well crap.
Hey Brad, how come the C4 isn't one of the Hot Hatches on the spreadsheet?
I just discovered it drives so much better than my damn Clio, and now I find I can't run it. It's the Alfa GT all over again!
E: Although the spreadsheet isn't exactly accurate, the 08 Civic Type R isn't a hatch.
In reply to Grizz:
It was probably just an oversight. I'll make the 2 updates:
+C4 -'08 Civic
Nothing is written in stone, if there is an issue or a car that you want to run all you have to do is state your case. If it is reasonable within the spirit of the rules, and no one objects, we'll allow it.

No issue, I just hated my Clio and was running through my hatches looking for a replacement before I made a final choice.
Although the Alfa GT was my fault, I dumped a ton of money into it because it looked like a hatch, tested it, and then got into the Daytona sun and noticed it isn't actually a hatch. -_-
^Baelwerker?
Anyways, are we going to put the rule in place that says once you win with a car, you can't use it again?
In reply to 92CelicaHalfTrac:
No... I couldn't keep up with that.
Bummer lol.
This is going to make my decision hard. I have 20 prepped HHs, and i find at least 5 of them fast.
My Z06RM is very twitchy under hard braking... anyone else having that issue? Tips to correct it?
What's your suspension setup look like? Mine isn't twitchy at all, though i do find that i have to feather the gas until halfway through 3rd gear to not make huge smoke clouds.
Not gonna give away the good just yet... however...
Messing around on Tsukuba, it looks like a good bit of the problem was with my (anti)roll bar settings being too high on the front. I had them set to 3/5 (which is what I have on my ZR1RM).
I played with a couple different settings there and got the snap spinning during braking minimized, but the down side is now my turn-in seems slow.
