Hmm no such problems here. Working fine on an XP + Firefox 3.5.2 right now and worked fine last night on Ubuntu + Firefox 3.5.3.
The only problem here is that the whole left side of the screen is taken up by some crap I don't need to see

I get that once in a while. Do a restart and it usually goes away.
