And we're chatting.
Thanks again hobiercr. The chats are great, especially for those of us with minimalist social lives.
I tried to connect but the remnants of the latest hurricane took out power and internet for most of the day...
See you all next time

You should move to FL where we know how to deal with hurricanes.

Nah, I really enjoy the variety of having 4 distinct seasons. Besides, dealing with occasional bad weather is much easier than having to deal with Florida Man!

Tim, you're not considering all the possibilities. You could BE Florida man. The hijinks would be endless, and winter sucks anyway.
In reply to barefootskater :
maybe in my younger days I could have been Florida Man material but I have grown too refined and cultured; still an shiny happy person but a totally different strain.
Winter is actually pretty ok in my opinion, but fall and spring are really where it is all at. I get bored quickly and am happiest when things are in motion and changing around me.

We have four seasons. There's Hot, Kinda Hot (twice a year), and Ok.
Sorry I had to bone out so abruptly. Phone was hollering "plug it in!" And wife was politely asking for help with the kiddos.
Missed you last night. Fortunately, the tornado missed our house by about 100 feet.
I was busy getting the generator going, then walking to where I had to leave my car after the streets were cleared.
Sorry I didn’t make it. When I saw it was up I didn’t feel like getting dressed. I’m sure y’all appreciate that also.
