I got an old pressure washer for free from a neighbor, and I thought the 11hp motor would be awesome for a go-kart project with son. Only thing is, I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to get the pressure washer pump off the crank. Maybe this motor is only made to run with this pump? I got some of it off, but this last flange and the camshaft for the pump are on there. They spin, but I don't see how to get them off. Any ideas?

Pretty common.
The pump shaft is corroded and seized on the engine shaft.
Heat, penetrating oil and some gentle prying might be your friend here.
Considering that you don't care about the pump, drill through the end of the pump shaft using the center that's already there as a guide. Then you can get some penetrating oil right into the pump shaft bore where it will do some good.
If it were me, I'd drill through and tap the end of the pump shaft for a grease fitting, then use a grease gun to pump the shaft off of the engine.

Awesome, thanks! I thought maybe it was just seized, but didn't know if there was something I was missing. I'll give it a whirl. I've got no spark, so I need to look into that a bit more. I'm guessing just a coil or something, but I need to find some specs in order to start ohming things out. I figure this thing will rip on a little yard kart!

Make sure there's oil in it when checking for spark, those engines have a low oil sensor that disables the ignition.
Probably why they last so long.

I thought I read that somewhere, thanks!
Success! Heat, prybar, hammer.

Expecting go-kart awesomeness in the near future...
11hp in a smallish go kart would be a riot.
Take video!
In the future...not sure if it will be near future. Trying to do this super budget, so I need to find the right kart. So far I've got a free motor, so the budget is doing well!
Wouldn't you know, I added some oil, got spark, added a bit of fuel, and it fired right up! Budget is still $0!
