evening all, i just bought a house in marysville, Ohio. technically its marysville, but its out in the country. i have a few questions about internet.

first, the PO had time warner cable TV and phone, so i called them for internet. TWC said that internet was unavailable at my address. the guy who disconnected the POs service (tv and phone) said that both require a modem now, so he cant figure out why internet wouldn't be available. neither can i. why would TWC service the house for cable and phone but not internet access?

second, i HATE satellite provided internet. i have had two, Excede and DirecTV, both sucked, for the same reasons. bandwidth and data limits, choke speeds during prime hours, terrible signal quality, reliability in even the best weather was very poor, the list goes on. all this for $60 plus. sounds like Windows 10... does anyone here have satellite provided internet they don't hate? with who? does any ISP provide internet without data restrictions? i DL movies and shows, and want to get hulu plus and netflix back, cause i don't have any TV service save for antenna, so speed inst a concern, just data usage must be unlimited (25+ gigs a month). also, it must be available as an ISP only, no bundles or packages. i just want a connection.

third, how do i search for the providers who service MY HOUSE? i can find all kinds of sites that show who services my AREA, but that's useless. most of them list TWC, which i know doesn't serve me specifically. i'd like not to have to call every isp in the eastern hemisphere...

thanks in advance!
