I left a cheater pipe in the fan shroud of my Monte Carlo. I found it when I developed a large coolant leak.
During the remodel of my basement I walled up a bottle of flavored bourbon (nasty stuff) just to give a future generation something to wonder about.

Bunch of people I used to work with did similar things. That's how we sent a foot and a half long screwdriver and an inclinometer for a tour of the country one time.
It's also why when I used to pull floorboards on ERJ-145's at the start of an inspection it was "free tool day." I had at least a dozen inspection mirrors and harbor freight flashlights after a year.
