I thought the hotlink thread was the original whore thread, but I checked and this is two years older. Obviously I dont' whore myself out enough.

When was the new forum created? I see I joined in 08, but I was a member of the old forum before that.

Here is the chart I made back in 2010 when the hotlink thread caught up and passed this thread on its way to postwhoring legend.

At the time I tried, in vain, to keep this thread ahead of the hotlink thread.

Too many people ignored my efforts and the hotlink thread went on to bigger a better things while this thread has been pretty well ignored.

Some admin gave me early access to beta test, so naturally I restarted the post-whoring thread from the previous message board.

Nope, the hotlink was the new kid on the block. Now it's the wise old master who can teach it's teacher a thing or two and is helping nurture it's prodigies the hotlinked .gif threads.
