Being a fan of vertical integration, I suggest acquiring steel mills, electronics manufacturers, and the like. Once you own the supply chain, you will be able to produce a vehicle without any holdups.

My husband used to say (in reference to my Dakota 4x4 that I had at the time) that Dodge started with the spark plugs and proceeded to build the truck around them. Mostly because one spark plug was very difficult to get to, involving a pry bar and temporary repositioning of the engine.
