He should be good at it....they're all playing roles on Top Gear....it is a different roll than he plays there, but that just means he's a versatile actor.
I am enjoying the wine show but I can't stand the name. That name was obviously thought up in an awkward instant to appeal to american audiences.
"Oz and James big wine adventure" doesn't have the instant name appeal but it does describe the show better.
Lesley no need to be ashamed through the magic of the internet nearly all of the above mentioned shows can be watched online.
Anyone watching Game of Thrones? I have not yet seen it but I really enjoyed the book series...
If you have a 360, PS3, or new fangled computer or TV you can always stream Netflix right to your set and have all sorts of old TV shows at your disposal.
Right now SWMBO and I have a few different series we like to watch:
Rescue Me
Lost
Weeds
Family Guy/American Dad
Top Gear
Plus they typically have a decent selection of movies if you don't feel like driving out to the video store.
Total cost every month with the Xbox gold membership and netflix is like 13 bucks.
Wayyy cheaper than cable, and no commercials!
I dig the Soup every Friday.

I've been watching that, too. I laughed when i saw him make a bee-line for the Corona on the last episode.
Breaking Bad is superb! Watch it from episode one, and don't jump ahead. Amazing the father is the same actor from Malcom in the Middle.
I believe it's available on AMCTV.com
Also, currently running on AMC is "The Killing" High school girl is murdered is Seattle. It's almost as good as Breaking Bad. The hour just flys by. And they show a teaser for next week's show on the AMCTV.com site.
NOVA; Some episodes of Secrets of the Dead, both on PBS.
+1 for Dexter. Twisted mind who came up with that premise.
PBS' American Experience never fails to enlighten.

Yeah, when I first ditched the cable, you could still get analog broadcast tv. A lot of the time, my set had two settings..PBS and off. I think the only other stuff I was watching was an early season of "Lost", and "Veronica Mars". And probably the Braves.
Most of what I watch is either on my PBS app on my iPhone or netflix. My instantque had Dr. Who, BSG, and some others.
I like Archer on FX. Season just ended but its pretty damn funny.

My wife got me hooked on Archer, I paid her back with Justified.
I admit... when Lost was originally on TV, I rebelled. I thought the idea was stupid. People trapped on a magical, supernatural island? Please. I watched one episode and vowed to never watch it again.
I am now on season 3 episode 18 on Netflix. I am hooked like its Crackheroincocainelsd.

The show really picks up steam after season 3. The end of season 3 and all of seasons 4 and 5 are some of the best tv I've seen.
I picked up on Justified at the beginning of Season 2. Took a few episodes for me to figure out what was going on but by then swmbo was hooked and we rented season 1 from netflix.
Some of our other go-to shows that we both agree on are Pawn Stars, American Pickers, American Restorations, River Monsters, The First 48. We will sometimes watch Burn Notice if its on but havent gone so far as to DVR it.
She likes Glee....and some other silly stuff. Also Bones, Law and Order CI.....
oh yeah Battlestar Galactica is awesome. I am not much for sci-fi stuff but it was a really good show and I also enjoyed it from start to finish. My wife while not into it as much as I am, claimed that it wasnt that great yet but she watched the whole series from start to finish once I got her started on it. She just had to know what happened next.
