I tried preordering concert tickets on Ticketmaster. The site wasn't working right do I tried from a different phone, and ended up on a site that looked similar to the venues, but now in the confirmation email everything says ticket center and they're a reseller. Am I going to see a show or was I taken?
I don't know anything about them, but Weird Al is coming to KC three days after SLC! I was just looking at that. But tickets are not on sale yet for it...

I want to say that a similar thing happened to me with CAKE tickets, under similar circumstances.
I did overpay for the tickets because they are a reseller, but the seats were valid and we got into the show with no problem.
I also had that experience with ticket-center.com last year for a Lake Street Dive show. I was trying to buy the tickets on my phone while at a bar and wasn't paying enough attention. The tickets ended up being 4x the price of normal tickets, but they did work for the show. I just won't make that mistake again.
From what I understand you probably overpaid by a lot but the tickets are real.
Weird Al is fun. I worked one of his shows years ago. Really cool guy.
Thank you all. I don't feel as bad about overpaying as I was worried about them being a scam. I've never been able to see him, it's a fun venue, and while overpriced they weren't unreasonable.
I think you're fine. Reddit to the rescue. Looks like they're shady AF, and terrible customer service, but people report that the tix are legit

I was going to tease Wally and say that he didn't get robbed by the ticket seller, he's getting robbed because he's seeing Weird Al. :)
