You guys can keep the speed traps.., especially in Waldo. Saw three cops in that 2 mile long wide patch of road.. two of them had people pulled over and the third was sitting in the median right where the speed limit dropped to 25.. supposedly they will nail you at 26mpg

Other than that.. a whirlwind tour. Flew in Tuesday, loaded up a 12 foot box truck with all my father's junk wed and left that night.. decided to take 17/13 up instead of 95 and got in 25 hours later. I think I had a two hour nap in there somewhere.

If you have never done the coastal highway through the Carolinas, you should take a peek, that is some very pretty scenery

Yeah that stretch of 301 through Waldo is known for grabbing speeders. If you are going south on 301 there is even a billboard in the town before warning drivers about the speed trap ahead.

I was going north, so missed all that.

I also now understand how good high beams are. Living in NJ, I have probably used mine for all of an hour over the past 25 years.. I even had one that was burned out on my Volvo and never even knew it until I accidently flipped them on in front of a piece of glass and could see the front of the car.

Going through Rural Georgia and South Carolina at night.. I occasionally had to turn the high beams off.
