Like not mechanically powered. I am looking for a cool / old (?) pedal car for my son (5 months). His cousins have some nice ones and I would like him to have one that he can drive with them.

Anyone have a good source, or a line on one?

Troll craigslist. I scored a Porsche Boxster S pedal car for a song from some snob who had to buy her kid the 2011 model.

like bicycle pedals? Or gas pedal attached to an electric motor (IE Powerwheels, Peg Perego)

Personally, I am going to end up custom building my upcoming child his own pedal car. I'm sort of a style whore, so ima find me a nice old patina'd one from the 60's, slam it out, and pinstripe it, rat roddish style.

The Violetta D Type

I have no doubt that thing costs more than any of my real cars but my kids would look so cool in one of these.

That's not cheap.

My kids had to play with power wheels picked up off the side of the road.

All the pedal cars I have seen recently have been in antique shops for stupid money.
