Regardless of my feelings about Lance, I have to figure if you disqualify your winners more often than not, you are eventually going to kill your sport.

I lost a lot of respect when Lance dumped his wife who had seen him through the cancer and when he dumped Sheryl Crow when she got cancer.

I agree with you.....
..assuming that I knew all there was to know about both relationships inside and out. Since I don't, it's not my place to judge.
Btw - Lance is innocent. The USADA is the worst of government bureaucrats.

Or, when he didn't want to jet set around the world in favor of spending time with his kids... Depends on where your info comes from I guess.
Great so now the guys who finished 2nd are used the same drugs in the same ways as Lance will get awarded the victories for races they didn't really win.

Yep, I'm sure its that simple.
Yes, I've gone from persecuting to defending him in the same thread.

He said that hehe had been approached by the TDF or antidoping authorities, and they said something to the effect of, "We will cut a deal with you, if you give us Lance".
as I understand it thats more or less what has happened with those that are testifying (or willing to) against Lance...

When asked if the yellow jerseys would be awarded to the second place finishers in the seven TDFs that Lance won, he said that they have each been found to have been dirty as well. That's the thing. Lance apologists act like it is some sort of witch hunt against Lance. It isn't. They nail tons of people.
yes, they nail tons of people THAT FAIL DRUG TESTS ... I'm still confused about which drugs they can PROVE that LA took ...
the above isn't trying to say that he didn't take "whatever" that everyone else was taking ( you can't compete at that level without "cheating" ) it just seems that he took just enough to stay below the wavy line in the sand ...
one last thought .... how can the USADA take something form him that they never gave him in the first place ? the TdF trophies aren't theirs to give or take are they ?
edit: dculberson beat me to it

Re Sheryl Crow. She wanted marriage and kids. He didn't. And she even hooked him up with the sweet GTO on Overhaulin.
Did a little research and he split with wife just before hooking up with Crow.
Seems to me he must be the most tested man on earth. He they can't find more than what they have (ie positive drug tests out the wazoo), let the man be.
Also checked into his cancer. I never realized it was so bad. Dude was lucky!
