Also, a video was released showing the "Trail Turn Assist" in action:
That's uh, pretty impressive
One of my dreams is a hack to do that for rallycross. The hard part is automating it!
In reply to Pete. (l33t FS) :
I think a base 2.7 auto non sasquatch bronco could be decent at rallycross

Being a Jeep guy, I'm a bit biased. I like it. I don't like IFS for trail work, but I like it. It's a competitor for the Jeep Wrangler. Competition improves the breed.
That being said, I couldn't help but to leave this here.
Anybody else get an email saying they can place their order now? I was on the tail end of making a reservation (just before they stopped taking reservations), so I assume most of you that placed reservations are in front of me. Also wondering if anybody knows how long I can hold off on placing an order without losing my reservation. Got some potential changes coming to include possible change in employment and location and would like to get that behind me before placing an order.

I received an email as well. Its because the ordering window for the 2022MY just opened on Oct 13th. You can call your dealer and have them change your order priority to 99 which holds your reservation and you won't lose your place in line. I 99'd my order for the 2021MY because I wanted to hold off for the new model year because I want a base manual with the Sasquatch package (which was not available on the 2021MY) and also for the Eruption Green color.
Buuut, I see that the $4,995 Sasquatch package is now $6,590 even though you are not forced into the $1,800 10 speed auto with the Sasquatch package now. Yeah, I'm out.
I'm convinced you need to buy the base model then 10,000 aftermarket parts will be available to customize your Bronco.
But it just feels so base model. I mean, those are the same tires your Mom had on her minivan (or station wagon).

Thanks for the info on 99'ing my order. I'll probably call and try that next week. I just want the base with the overhead switches and maybe the keypad on the door. I figure I can add what I really want/need from the aftermarket later and get it to be what I really want for less and with less extra BS I don't want.
I was sitting next to a Bronco at a stoplight the other day and it took me a few minutes to figure why the Jeep next to me had horses on the center caps.
Not impressed yet.
I checked one out that the dealer the other day and was super unimpressed by the build quality. Its like a Jeep Wrangler that was screwed together by stoned temps on a Friday afternoon.
Of my major worries:
-Frameless windows rattled like a bitch when opening the doors
-Little trim strip on the front doors overhangs the plastic B pillar trim, but its just a cheesy piece of plastic that sticks out proud past all other surfaces. Will immediately break.
-Door weatherstripping was not contoured properly and had wrinkles in it.
-All touch surfaces felt like they were built by the lowest bidder.
-Another piece of weatherstripping around the doors didnt fit at all.
I am sure its good offroad and I do commend Ford on building it, but when the feel, fit, and finish is worse than a 10 year old Wrangler, forget it.
