HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA LOL LOL LOL. I'm totally kidding.
As someone who met their now-wife via online dating and clearly would NOT ever have otherwise, I get quite a kick out of their commercials and of course laugh a bit at it- but figure hey, there apparently was a need for it and it's probably quite useful for some people.
That said... I think even if I were a farmer (or something of the likes) I'd want to be using something not quite so specific- as I said, my wife (dance teacher/artist) and I (engineer/GRMer) would likely never have met if we'd looking for love on sites targeted at our specific careers/interests. Variety definitely makes life more interesting...
One of my prouder moments so far was when I realized that I've been to one of the bars featured in their ads.
At least I don't want to punch every one of their spokespeople in the face, unlike, say "Elite Singles" dot com.

Pretty sure that’s what my ex went to when we divorced.

The irony?
Most of those sites are owned and run by the same company. Eharmony.com
Ever see those CougarDate.com commercials? They are pretty terrible as well. Who are they for?
Then I remember I'll be 38 this year. I also live in the cougar capital of the country - Florida.
Hmmmmmm

Doesn't matter who owns them, it matters who frequents them.
I met my wife on Match.com
We would have never met otherwise.
I got the deal and she over paid! I signed up for 3 months and she paid twice as much for 6 months.
OP - that was some truly excellent trolling. I knew there was little likelihood this was anything other than a troll, but I still had to be sure . . .

I tried online dating. It's a really great way to get insulted by women for being poor and fat and ugly without even having to leave the comfort of your home.
10/10 highly recommend.
