Anyone have a lead on affordable LED Edison bulbs in the 4000k color spectrum? All the ones out there are too warm or too pricey...

Looking at around $5 a bulb or a case of them. Might need up to 24 of them soon for some lighting at the house.

Sam's Club sell a 6 pack of these for $15, but they are in the 2700K range.

I've been very happy with them so far.

According to GE they are also available in the 5000K range. You might try Batteries & Bulbs.

I think OP is looking for the faux-filament LEDs, which are commonly known as "Edison style," but in a cooler color temperature than what is commonly sold.

Unfortunately I am unable to help; I've only ever been able to find the warmer ones, which is what we use in the dining room and exterior fixtures.

In reply to pointofdeparture: Bingo!

I know they make LED ones but they are all in the 2700k range...for our kitchen I'd like a brighter and cooler color.

Those stick style ones might do the trick but the look of the exposed filaments is what I'd like to find.

I had no idea those where LED, but have loved the look of them

Wow I never would've thought they could make them in LED format, but it looks like they just replace the filament with LED strands.
