If that’s the case, I will gladly offer my apology, but I’m not very optimistic. This company seems to have a whole bunch of bad reviews.
And I need to maneuver this thing through narrow paths in the rocky woods of New England. A two wheeled barrow would never work for me.

Jeez, how did I miss this thread? So much more fun than the "panic" thread. This upbeat thread has gained a lot of traction in just a couple days.
Tomorrow is St. Joseph's Day. So eat a Zeppola!
(These are my favorite kinds of threads. Kind of free-wheeling and fun).
so, related to our previous discussion... at least none of us are part of the 2nd Pacific Squadron?
I'm not sure I've ever read/heard about the Soviet's WW2 disposition, especially on the Pacific.

What is it that makes British style chips what they are? Is it the cut, preparation method, or something else? Never having been to the UK to try them, I had just assumed it was a cultural term related to Britain's ummm unique history with France.
Chips are basically what Americans would call steak fries.
Today I may have stumbled across the best worst tool I have ever seen:

Avoiding an unchallenged US position in Japan post-war was a major Soviet objective. Unfortunately for the Soviets, the A-bomb hastened the Japanese surrender to the point that it could do little but accept the American position. See this document for a good sense of the tensions between the two.
The Soviet position in China was very complex. If you really want to go down the rabbit hole, here's a trove of documents on just one aspect of this. It really helps to contextualize some Soviet decisions in a way that the usual Eurocentric discussion of the early Cold War tends to overlook.
Why do store bought eggs crack so much easier than farm fresh?

I'm told it has do do with the sterilization that occurs. This is the reason store bought eggs need to be refrigerated where farm fresh do not

Which book? I may be able to point you to it if I know what you're looking for.

It seems like $275 is a lot to spend for what looks like a gag gift.
In reply to Floating Doc :
Exactly. $20 at harbor freight and I would have just shook my head; nearly $300 from a real tool company and I don't know what to think.
In reply to 84FSP :
The reason store bought eggs have to be refrigerated is that a coating (the cuticle) is removed when they're processed.
In reply to oldopelguy :
Wowsers.
Edit: So, that begs the question, who uses that, and for what? It's obviously a real thing, and at that price, its obviously a serious thing. There was a picture of it on a turnbuckle, so... The crescent wrench head is the part that bothers me. A set of plug in open end wrenches, ok. Crescent wrench...
Which just inspired another question. Is Crescent Wrench a common term, or a local one to me?
