Local Bands? Detroit area had a bunch I loved back when I was going to the Magic Stick every couple weeks. Still a great venue for good rock and cheap tickets, just a lot of the best bands - White Stripes, Von Bondies, Soledad Brothers - have come and gone.

Still, I like the Hard Lessons - great great great live ROCK band. Female singer Ko Ko has one helluva rock voice, check out
