Does anybody else here watch this show on Amazon? The wife and I just finished the 2nd season over this Xmas break and I have truly enjoyed it. It's an interesting concept of some big 'what if' questions based around WW2 and also involves some further twists on things.
I dont know who close the show follows the book and im not much into reading but I will probably pick this book up sometime.
I have a few episodes of season 2 left to watch so no spoilers!
I am enjoying it for the most part and that is big praise from a person who hates the serial drama format that this "golden age of television" has switched to.
I will add that the first three episodes of the Netflix series "the Untold history of the united states" made me enjoy watching TMITHC even more.
Hmmm, we were just looking at the shows Amazon Prime gives us last night and choose Bosch over that one.
So we should watch that after we're through with Bosch?
BTW The character Bosch doesn't match the books very well although the story line is a dead ringer for the books.
I haven't watched High Castle yet but it looks interesting. I enjoyed Bosch; as mentioned the guy playing the title character didn't match how I saw the character from the books, but the storyline follows pretty well. I watched the first episode of Sneaky Pete last night and thought it was pretty good as well.
I really liked parts of season one but the main girl, Juliana ... the writers had her betray every single trust placed in her and continued to have characters trust her. I felt like if they kept up with that it was going to be a mess. Not because of the universe or story - but the characters just weren't going to be believable.
Still, the Nazi with the sick son and the Japanese cop were worth the price of admission so I guess I better get busy watching season two before I stumble in here and read spoilers.
When you guys are done - wander over to HBO and watch every single second of Westworld. It is awesome.
Season 2 has made me question everything I thought was going on

I was just saying that, and I've only finished the second episode of the first season.
It's a little slow going for me, so far, but I'm going to stick with it as it shows promise.
Really ready for Westworld though.

I need to finish westworld.
I had trouble getting into the first time I tried. I'm just starting A Crisis in Six Scenes.
I have yet to watch the second season. My wife got me the book for Christmas. I hope to read that at some point.
Halfway through the second season and love it, but I'm curious where this season is headed. Westworld was great.
