Went for my first skin check this year. Spent a couple summers working construction shirtless, so now I'm paranoid of skin cancer. Only one spot froze off just in case. Already have my appointment for next year.

My wife and I go yearly. Last check up the Dr. found a thingy on my back and she just didn't like the look of it so she took it off.
The lab results came back with "it's not cancer but it's not normal." And she didn't get all of it.
So she cuts out a larger bit, sends that in, same thing, and she still didn't get all of it.
She's ex-Air Force and when she comes in to take more off again she is visibly pissed. She said "in almost 30 years of doing this I've never had to it more than twice."
Naturally she really made sure she got it this time. I had a sizable hole from that.
She's always happy to use me as a "display of weird skin things" to the interns. I have active skin. The highlight of the tour seems to be the prominent tragus my ear has.
I keep saying my skin is trying to kill me since my melanoma didn't. Every year around this time, during the cold, dry winter, my hands crack and bleed due to eczema. It doesn't matter how much lotion, creme, steroid creme, etc. I use, I suffer with cracked hands and bleeding. No matter what has been suggested, it doesn't work. For this year, the eczema has moved to my scalp and my ears. It's a lot of fun.

Have you tried any of the biologic medicines?
I have not. Care to learn me?
Otherwise I'm adding to my list of reasons to move to the beach. The summer time and or humid climates are the only cure for me. I suffered when I was in El Paso aka the desert and dry winter air in Pittsburgh isn't a whole lot better.
