So I have a 997.2 Porsche 4S Cabrio in my shop right now. My job is to hide it until my brother in law presents it to his wife for her 40th birthday on the 28th, right before the surprise birthday party she doesn't want. She's not into cars. She's not a small girl. She has three kids ranging from 5-9, she's got a full time job and he works/lives out of town 5 days a week so she's basically a single mom during that time.

I'm pretty sure I know how this is going to turn out.

It sounds to me like he would be safer getting her a vacuum cleaner!

I made that mistake.  Once.

Funny, I had a dream last night that I was at some guys house and he had a Porsche convertible for sale. In the dream, I saw the car had an automatic transmission and, somehow, also had back seats (my dreams have weird Artistic license) and I was like, "oh, that would be perfect for Mrs. VCH".

I told her about the dream this morning, and she made a face when I got to "Porsche".

"Mister" is used to address a male. "Mrs" is used to address a MARRIED female. We don't have a word to address a female without attaching archaic patriarchal commentary about marital status.

I say we should use the word "Mistress" more often!

Oh, he's not fooling anyone. He's gotta keep up with all the hot trustafarians he hangs out with in the Snowmass hot tub during the week. I don't know anyone else who legitimately has a combover.

I don't like him much. But my wife loves her nephews and neice very much, so there's that.

I always thought Mrs was the diminutive of Mistress because way back in the olden days it was Master and Mistress, hence Mr and Mrs ?

You think you've got it rough, I had to squeegee the dew off of my windows before I could drive to work this morning.

I don't have a good picture of Bubbachewski, the teenage (dog years) dirtbag Great Pyrenees, but here is one of our dearly departed Frosty the Samoyed that reflects Bubba's feelings on the weather.
