Melting it during a Hockey But Eventually Water Polo game would be difficult, especially if you want the melt to be uniform, depending on the length of the game.
I'm thinking the pool for this game should be like a giant hot tub that can heat the water and expel it through different jets to maximize melt uniformity. Obviously it would need to have cooling coils in the bottom (like a skating rink) and sides as well.
