The same could be said for bourbon. And beer.
Don't know about Bourbon and Vodka, but I always speak Jimmy Carters name with reverence for deregulating the brewing industry. Double-digit interest rates and hostages in Iran? Who cares? The beer's getting better!

Economical trends are ephemeral. Good beer is forever.
The bridge has been struck three times this month alone. Last night's impact was the funniest, because it got hit by a highway department truck, and it was immediately reported that a highway department truck had hit the bridge, with a photo of it listing to the right. Within an hour, the highway department issued a statement that the truck hadn't hit the bridge, but that they had parked the truck close to the bridge and had the left side of the truck jacked up, which made it look like it had struck the bridge. About an hour later, the sheriff's department issued a statement and said, no, the highway department truck had indeed hit the bridge and the "we jacked one side of it up" statement was completely false. Oops.
