The round fan is adjustable, so it is obviously the thrust vectoring /steering mechanism while the others are just there for straight line propulsion.

Ya know, the dumbass could have gone to Walmart and gotten a trolling motor and battery for less than he's got tied up in the generator, extension cords, and fans.
