Must not have chopped it up enough. I've always thought that the meat was the hamburger patties that weren't cooked the day before, therefore no longer fresh.

It is hamburgers that were cooked previously. Probably not from the day before but a couple days prior.
I worked there, I will not eat that E36 M3.
