I ran across these at a trade show the other day, salesmen said they work even better than tires with a "rim protector" lip because the material is harder:
You can color-match them to the wheel or tire if you don't want them to stand out. Looking at how they install though, I have to wonder if they affect how quickly the tire loses air.

I love my wife to the ends of the earth.
She always thought I was being chivalrous, opening the car door for her.
It was actually because 2nd generation f-bodies and TE72 Corollas have frameless windows.
