Always boggles my mind when you consider the SBC. From 262ci up to 400ci in the exact same unit. That's 4.3L to 6.6L for the Canadians in the chat. Nearly 50% increase in displacement from the earliest iteration.

Pontiac went from a 326 to a 455 on the same basic block.

Lets see, Oldsmobile bounced between 260 and 403, I think. All the way up to 455 if you are willing to accept a change in deck height.

I think the existence of Pontiac engines is more likely to confuse Canadians than the use of cubic inches.
(Canadian market Pontiacs had Chevrolet engines and rode on Chevrolet chassis for years)

Any time I hear people say big block Pontiac or small block Pontiac I internally go "Oh, you have no clue what you're talking about."

I have never read the book or seen the movie. At this point, after the soylent green and starship troopers letdowns, im not sure which i should consume or avoid (movies better in both referenced cases in my opinion. Fight me.)
Meme unrelated.

The Chihuahuas are going to be pissed.
Just saying.

Canadian BUILT Pontiacs had Chevrolet engines.
Canadian market Pontiacs built in America had Pontiac engines.
My '58 Pathfinder had a Chevy 261.
My '73 Formula 400 had a Pontiac 400.
My '80 Turbo T/A had a 301.
A Bonneville came with a Pontiac V8 but a Parisienne came with a Chevrolet.
