No, although wishing to kill anyone is of questionable taste.
It's entirely possible he would only desire to maim them.
We can go with that if you want.

I was trying to see if someone made a cartoon meme about not realizing that you could run laterally away from whatever was chasing you, because that picture is stupid because those are threaded perces you can unthread to release tension on the spring. But there aren't enough monkeys with keyboards, so it doesn't exist yet.
Anyway, that's te stupidest thing I've seen today, although it's only 6am. Here's your meme.
While I'm crabassing about stupid memes:M

Military spec, like anything subject to government procurement, has a well-defined specification, because you can't have any grey areas in procurement.
Civilian spec has no definition other than "Meh, if they don't like it they can return it, or pound sand, whatever."
This is why mil-spec components are second only to aviation-spec.
My experience is people who complain about military spec things will complain about everything because the world just never manages to meet their expectations.

As I've been involved a lot with procurement recently, gray areas in civilian spec can be equally frustrating.
Of course, I'm often dealing with a rigid client spec that takes an act of god to get revised... so the next one ordered is equally wrong.

I think that meme is referring to things like this, rather than things like A-N fittings.

A lot of things are also considered disposable to the military- like uniforms and boots. So, the longetivity of the items might not be equal to a good quality civilian item.

Like the boots I can't get 8 months of life out of, no matter if I buy $40 boots or $150 boots?

Yeah, pretty good percentage of my class was humorless. Or at least when subjected to my version of humor. But I'm weird. And my filters aren't always functional.

Wow, doing a GIS f'or "terminator anime" gets some amazing artwork.
There's more... way more. Way way way more.
(Hey, these are technically memes, in the sense that they are products of culture that are almost instantly recognizable even if you are not familiar with the work they are based on)
