I'm convinced that the only redeeming qualities to Orlando are Mrs.mndsm, mndsm, and mndsm's beard.
I was just next to that cop car two hours ago and it's humid as berkeley out there
I grew up in central Florida, can't disagree with this.
However, based on my experience trying to cool out a racehorse, the two most intensely humid and hot places I've been were Buffalo, NY and Springfield, IL.
Springfield isn't humid all the time though. Don't get me wrong, Springfield is a horrible town, and worse than Orlando - only place I've ever legitimately feared for my safety - but it isn't humid all the time.
What track was down there? State Fairgrounds? Ever race at Maywood, or Hawthorne?

Given the way my beard looks in the morning, I could do a pretty good impersonation of that dog's shiny happy person.

Oh, obviously I just had bad luck with the timing. Neither Springfield or Buffalo are known for hot summers.
I was there for Grand Circuit week at the State fairgrounds, 1975. It was so wet and humid that they couldn't get the track dried out enough to have the races. The entire week was canceled and the purses were split between the entries.
It was the only purse check my horse picked up that summer. This is me training that same horse in Orlando the following winter.

Looks like the ammo case at a Walmart.

I'm confused. Is something happening here?

Whereas Buffalo Springfield are known for being hot in the summer of 1967.
