E36 M3 no Italian tire jokes come to mind.
We all agree cause it's Wally asking it's ok to post. My dad was 100% Italian and always thought it was funny.
Jesus Christ
I can no longer tell my favorite joke except to people I've known for years, and they've already heard it
It's safer to just use the punch line now.
"Can you put me up for the night?"
"Help me find my keys and we can drive my bus out!"
"Then Papa, you take too big of a bite!"
"What do you mean 'wrong hole'?"
Have dead baby jokes ever been funny? I never found them to be anything other than disgusting. Racist jokes, sexist jokes, jokes about abusing people (what do you call a woman with two black eyes), they all have something humorous about them, even if that humor is in a deep rooted cancer of society. But dead baby jokes?
I used to just find them offensive and vulgar. Now they make me sad and angry.
This meme is offensive to zombies:

I didn't say they were funny, I just said they were stuck in my head along with a lot of weird stuff from growing up in the 60's/70's.
My apologies.

I had the book that was from. It was a double paperback, one side was Italian jokes and the other side was Polish jokes.
I was like 4 when I read it...

Yeah, I don't think they have every been "funny", just more shocking.
Shock, surprise, offensiveness etc are very much a part of comedy. Many of the greats have have used a lot of of it (Pryor, Chapelle, McDonald...). Even Monty Python was mostly making fun of (offending) the stodgy society that they grew up in.
Dead baby jokes are just an example of pushing that envelope to the point where it's all shock and no humor. Some would say Andrew Dice Clay would be an example of that also (I am sure he is a serious no fly zone now!).
