I said "Ouch" because I was an art major, and there is astounding truth here.
There was a vast amount of time TALKING about needy people, and almost none DOING things to help needy people.
And way too many of those beautiful heart wrenching photos ended up in coffee table books, or adorning someone's Pinterest pages.
And I now have family members who make their living selling art that is equally exploitative.
Therefore... Ouch.
