Well that was a bizarre but very shallow rabbit hole. I rly wanted that painting to be an Old Master. But it's a cgi by a Latvian feller named Arthur Berzinsh. Who has done some... odd renders.

Thank you. I was sitting here watching that with my in-laws and cringing at the car dancing. I just kept telling myself they were "prop cars", probably worthless junkers all paint and lipstick. But still. *Shudder*

I was telling myself that there was some super thick clear bra on them, or that they were spare hoods that would be repaired on the NFL's dime or something.

Thank you for sniffing that out. I too was curious as to just who the artist was. I've never seen anything quite like it hanging in the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.

From what I read, they were stunt hoods, reinforced underneath. Repop hoods are made for those Impalas, so this makes sense.
