We got yelled at to NOT touch the chest belt cause during storage the metal tongue would rattle on the chrome inside window trim and it being a "98" my dad couldn't easily reach over to fix it.

We (NZ) generally referred to the two point belts as "lap" or "shoulder". Three point belts were often called "lap and diagonal ".

Did other countries use different names for these ?
