yeah … all the wonderful recipes that get posted … so many of them for sweets that I'd LOVE to try … but at least that I'm now on injectable insulin I can occasionally slip in a doughnut and know that I'm not going to hit 300 on my glucometer

A couple years ago I wanted to see what my glucose level was after a thanksgiving lunch at work (ate till it hurt!). The nurse acted like it was a little high at 140 but when I told her I had just eaten 10,000 calories she understood. I got 99 problems but a malfunctioning pancreas ain't one.

Pre-diabetic here. Diet controlled. Haven't had a doughnut in almost 2 years. And when I do splurge on something sweet, like a piece of cake, I can only get through a couple bites before I feel it. Not used to sugar now.

i'm watching a Bob Ross painting marathon at twitch.tv/bobross and i absolutely no intention of finding anything else to watch. Yeah, i'll admit it, i like watching him paint.

I don't know a thing about Megasquirt, other than the fact that it helps you put fuel injection on carburated engines.

You may not like the music, or the style or whatever, but dammit that girls got a voice.

I know I wasn't the only one that liked Adele. I also enjoy showtunes and yachtrock so I may not be the best arbiter of musical taste.
