It's almost 9pm.
It's still 92 degrees on my back porch.
Come on winter.
Edit: This morning at 6 am it was 82 degrees and the humidity must have been in the high 90s.
I hate July and August.

Stopped by and grabbed a couple Little Caesars pizzas last night. They asked me for a tip. Dude, they're $5 pizzas, you people barely make them, and you're working the counter in pajama pants and a Rick & Morty T-shirt, I'm not giving you a berkeleying tip.
Another rant, because I'm a cranky, miserable bastard today; apparently Continental has dumped the 15" sizes for the ExtremeContactSport 02, after being out for only about a year. I have a set on my MR2 Spyder and I was planning to get a set next year for the Miata, now that it's transitioning from a race car to a street car. Guess I'll have to find another option.
And now it's raining.
Does anyone know what happens when you get a 3-minute rain shower on a 100-degree day?
The air is thick enough to cut.

That's really disappointing... the ECS was my go to 'rain tire' for the track Miata. I've still got a set with good tread, but they're 5 years old and getting hard. Not sure what to replace them with when the time comes. I can't believe they weren't selling enough 15s to make it worthwhile?

Yeah. Really bums me out. The ECS 02 was a terrific street and rain tire, and they just introduced the 02 last year. I know they're practically the go-to tire for a lot of Miata drivers, and they are awesome on my MR2 Spyder

Tip culture is insane recently. I build peoples berkeleying houses and I don't get tips.
In fact, since I read this( and it was roughly the same amount of effort as a lot of people asking for tips) does that mean I get a tip ?

15s are going to be the next diameter to be sent down E36 M3 creek, sadly. They're the most popular of the small diameters, but they can't avoid the fate of 13s forever. Time to start thinking about jamming 17s onto anything running 15s if possible.
In reply to GameboyRMH :
Unfortunately MR2 Spyders and NA Miatas look like absolute trash with anything over a 15" wheel. And legally for E/Street, I can't run a 17" on the Spyder, although I think Super 200tws will remain available in 15s. The odd thing is that Conti is still offering 16" ECS 02s and I feel like 16" wheels are more of a dinosaur than 15" wheels.

15s drive like E36 M3 on a first gen RX-7 and look weird. 16s and 17s are right out.
If you can even get 205/40-17s anymore.
the sandwich I ordered ^^^

Yes, both were 12 inches, but mine has less than half the meat of the picture. I expect this bullE36 M3 from fast food places, but food trucks too?
It's close to 90dgF and super humid but I see folks with coats and sweatshirts on. Thin blood I guess.

My sister used to live in mountain home. She would go on and on about their summers being so mild. They're a little farther north now, and the winters are bad enough to make me enjoy our week or two of 110-115.
Rant update: So a few weeks ago I posted about a sale I canceled of Touareg parts on Club Touareg. The "kid" didn't even have his own PayPal account, it was his Mom's or something and they a have well established eBay business (I searched and it is true). They sent a partial test payment, and wanted me to confirm then they would send the rest, that "They do this all the time". I kinda have a short fuse when it comes to people and it weirded me out enough to refund the deposit and tell them forget it. He then complained about me in the for sale post and in a PM called me a "thanks for my money back but. t head."
The update being I'd occasionally see his other posts on the forum and he was always being a jerk and inciting people. So I happen to check again a couple days ago and welp he got banned from the site. A little justice in an unjust world...
I just saw an article about the GR Corolla where they called it a GRolla and now I've lost faith in humanity again.
Women's swimsuit bottoms have gotten out of hand. My wife and I and friends did a river float today on tubes, and i saw way more of so many women than I should be legally able to see in public. Outrageous

I lived in Mountain Home for a few years before I left active duty. It's not a bad place. I actually really liked living there. I moved there from Tampa. Talk about a culture shock lol.
The place I live now in eastern New Mexico is damn near exactly the same. There is a bit more people there but it's almost a carbon copy of Mountain Home.
The heat doesn't bother me as it isn't humid at all.
"ItS a DrY hEaT!"

I agree, awful.
Since the GF got a job with the city, she has been interacting with all sorts of people. She works for the city-run senior center as an administrative assistant. One patron she met is the CEO/founder of a local animal rescue. He's a great guy and she offered to help his organization with their social media presence. I was also volunteered to help out with transporting animals to a clinic for spaying and neutering once a month. I don't mind as we have spoken about volunteering in the local community.
But I'm away right now for two weeks. My GF just texted me that she's fostering a dog. I'm kind of annoyed that she waiting until I was gone to do it but kind of laughing because she knows she can get away with it. We have two cats and I kinda didn't want anymore animals but I kinda wanted a doggo.
This is Sasha:
She's a retriever mix that is (estimated) to be 5 or 6 years old. She's very sweet, very quiet and house broken, according to the GF. I wish I could meet her as she might get adopted out before I get home. If she doesn't get adopted, I might end up with a doggo lol
