Bacon wrapped chicken livers in the broiler. Woweeewaaahwaaaah. Chop the livers into little pieces (big livers are NASTY imo.) Cook in the broiler until crispy.

Momma used to feed us liver all the time when I was a kid. Then I went to biology class at school and leaned what a liver was; basically a filter for poisons.

Haven't eaten one since.

The bacon sounds good, though.

YOu can also try bacon wrapped water chestnuts, surprisingly good even for someone like myself who is not a water chestnut fan.

My favorite use for livers is brown gravy... and hearts, and necks, and giblets.

Bacon -N- Eggs candy: -2 tiny pretzel sticks,1 white chocolate Hersheys kiss, 1 yellow mNm

place sticks on wax paper side by side and touching. Place hershey kiss on top. Place in oven at about 180* for just a few minutes until soft, just starting to flatten out on their own. Take out of oven and press yellow mNm down in the center of the kiss.

Heres the results:

This thread is silly. Ofcourse bacon is awesome. Everyone knows that. You can put bacon on dogE36 M3 and it makes dogE36 M3 palatable. If we could get all thepeople who won't eat it now to eat it we could have one giant global berkeleying bacon holiday to unite all mankind.

I'm going to microwave some up right now and eat ti with jellybeans.

I like the idea of a giant global berkeleying bacon holiday to unite all mankind....kinda long name for a holiday though, might have to shorten it to Bacon Day, but then people would think we were paying homage to the works of Kevin Bacon...and that is the farthest from what we want to accomplish....

I like Giant Global berkeleying Bacon Day better, personally.

And of course, none here are unfamiliar with bacon's infinite awesomeness, but its ability to make chicken livers awesome is noteworthy. Also, on the same night we did the chicken livers, we saved enough bacon to do bacon sprinkles on our chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. This is becoming a disturbingly (read: "deliciously") common occurance in the house of poo.

FYI I prepared three 16oz center cut sirloins with an outer wrap of bacon and after the flip I added premium bleu cheese and finished the grilling to a light medium. Served with a mixture of soy sauce and horseradish for dipping.

I usually wrap the shrimp in hickory smoked bacon, with a teryaki/brown sugar/pineapple juice marinade. (pineapple chunks for the shrimp kabobs.)

The only way you top that is to use bacon-fed shrimp.
