I found one while looking for something else along with 2 1qt. paper cans of Sears 10-30w oil! How many of you remember the paper cans?

Never seen one before, but guessed it was a funnel/spout of some sort.

I'm too young for this crowd

Yeah, but do you know what the pencil is used for? Not for writing on the label.

Here's a whatsit. So what is it? I'll give you a hint, there are lots of them working together to do their job, and the magazine is a hint.

You use the pencil to wind the tape.

I had 3-4 of them. Once all the oil companies went to plastic I ended up throwing them away. Now I wonder if some may become "valuable" some day? Nah! Interesting maybe, but valuable I think not.

That is obviously a paperweight. Look at all the papers it's holding down!

I am guessing it is a "tooth" from some sort of excavating or drilling machine (possibly used in coal mining).

When I saw the picture of the spout, I thought, that is too easy. Seems it was.

I think I still have one somewhere.

Think I tried that, but the pencil didn't work that well....I think...Christ, trying to remember back 15+ years ago to a time when my memory is fragmented doesn't work very well.

I do know I usually just hit rewind :P

Most people (who are so inclined) name their OWN thingy, instead of asking others to do it for them!

Most people who served in the Army call it that.
