MOTHER. OF. GOD.
This is a fact. LEGO kit 10242 is a Mini. So much need. So much want.

No comments about the fact that it's a Mini, but they misspelled it MINI?

Stuff like this? Lego store. I have one 15min from me, so that helps.

I'm looking at it wondering if I can piecemeal the kit- or at least the body out of other colors from the make your own crap bins.
That's the result of one of Lego's programs - people can submit designs and if they get enough votes, they get produced (if possible). The Ghostbusters one was one of those, I think.

Lego usually puts their instructions online as well.
I've been considering this to go with our VW camper. After all, we've got the "full size" Mini.

I decided to let it go, this time, but conflating Mini and MINI does get under my skin.

You can buy the kit and then replace the pieces with the ones that you want. There are multiple sites online that will list all the pieces in the kits and their part numbers, and then you just need to compile the list and go to someplace like BrickLink and buy the individual pieces.

Well, yeah. That's because you're buying imports. If you wait for a week or so, you can buy it from Lego.com for MSRP. When I bought our camper van, it was SUPER RARE! HARD TO GET! and expensive everywhere but Lego.com, where it was in stock for the normal price
Around our house, we're waiting for 42030: a huge Volvo loader. I'm married to a construction nerd.

There have been a couple of great Lotus MOCs (My Own Creation). Some better than others, and one of them even has a 6 speed sequential gearbox and disk brakes. But here's the best one.
